To honor the people behind the teeth, here is a short series introducing our three master ceramists here at Styledent.

Dimitri Tsichlis-Styledent Digital Dental Lab — Dimitri Tsichlis

Anyone who meets Dimitri will be energized by his passion. Whether he is teaching, speaking or just plain talking about dentistry, you can see his eyes opening up and the conversation becomes very lively. He is an excellent master dental ceramist, having followed many courses with known legends such as Willi Geller himself.

Dimitri’s father started Styledent in 1993 as a small one man lab. Every summer, from 12 years old, Dimitri would work at the lab and help his dad, awakening his interest for the trade. In 2007, after graduating dental technology, he took over the family business. Dimitri had a vision and a mission to provide the best aesthetics to his clients through excellent porcelain work, supported by state of the art technology. His is still pursuing this vision with now 2 dental lab locations in Montreal, Canada and Winter Park, Florida, serving clients from the U.S., Canada and France.

A little bit more about Dimitri…

Dimitri Tsichlis graduated from Édouard-Montpetit Cégep in Longueuil as a dental technician. He is the first and only dental technician in history to be a lecturer in continuing dental education at Montreal University as well as Laval University in Quebec city. Since then, he has been a frequent guest at various dental societies and study clubs as well as the Canadian National Defense clinics.

Mr. Tsichlis is the CEO of the Styledent Dental Laboratory, a family-owned business that has existed since 1993 located in Laval, Quebec, Canada. He also owns Styledent LLC, a dental lab located in Winter Park, Florida, USA.

Mr Tsichlis is an international Key Opinion Leader for the company Amann Girrbach. Through his specially designed lectures for dentists, he shares his knowledge of new dental materials and techniques for making esthetic and durable fixed restorations. Dimitri's goal is to raise awareness through education, communication and proper planning between the clinician, the patient and the dental laboratory. Mr. Tsichlis continues to perfect his art by periodically attending advanced courses with the most renowned dental technicians internationally.
